We are Family

Wolf Systems is by no means a standalone operation. We are part of the Wolf Group, a family run business with over 45 years experience in the construction industry. Founded in 1966 by Johann Wolf in Scharnstein, Austria and specialising in agricultural buildings, the Wolf Group has grown to become an internationally acclaimed construction specialist.

Today we operate in 21 European countries, including Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Poland and Romania and continue to expand, with the opening of an 80,000 m2 factory in Russia only last year.

Still family-owned and family-run, the Wolf Group workforce is now 3000-strong, working in steel, concrete and timber and serving all construction sectors.

“Wolf UK is proud to take the technical lead in nail plate and software development for the wider Wolf family,” says Karl Foster, Sales and Marketing Director. “All engineered timber components designed and developed in the UK are adopted throughout Europe; Wolf nail plates, for instance, are utilised in huge quantities in construction projects throughout Austria, Poland and Germany.

“And this year our UK developed easi-joist® unanimously won an award at the largest construction exhibition in Hungary – the Construma. The prize was awarded to Wolf System’s Kujani Peter by Hungary’s Minister of National Economy Mihály Varga.

“Similarly, the ground-breaking timber engineering software that we author here in the UK is taken up Group-wide. With shared values and the support of our European brothers and sisters, we can continue to invest in making the engineering easier, for the benefit of all Wolf customers.”
