Celebrating silver and going for gold

 “We were delighted that so many customers could join us and be part of our Silver anniversary celebrations,” says Karl Foster, Sales and Marketing Director, “and the conference was a resounding success. It’s easy to think of Wolf Systems in the UK as a standalone business in its own right, but by holding our conference in Scharnstein, customers were able to get a real insight into our place within the wider Wolf Group and the advantages reaped through partnership with our colleagues in Austria, Germany and France.”

A welcome dinner on the first night hosted in Scharnstein by Johann Wolf, patriarch of the Group, enabled Wolf staff and customers to get to know each other better and paved the way for the next day’s busy agenda. 

The conference itself provided a great platform for Wolf to showcase its latest product and software developments including Horizon, pioneering BIM-ready timber framing software and Wolf Track 2, a new scheduling solution which can either standalone or be integrated with Wolf’s Enterprise design and management software. Notably, the conference enabled Wolf to preview its next generation roof and floor software design innovation – Fusion.

 “This was, in effect our very first ‘show and tell’ opportunity for Fusion,” explains Karl, “and of course we were very interested to hear what our customers thought about it.

“Initial response was very positive and though it’s still early days, we’re delighted that Fusion is ticking so many boxes.  Customer requests are integral to our software development – they ask; we respond. ”   

After a full day of presentations, software demos and user group feedback, Wolf treated customers to the traditional fare (not to mention beer) on tap at Munich’s renowned Hofbräuhaus brewery, followed by a night out on the town sampling some of the city’s nightlife.



“It was fantastic to have some downtime and the chance to get closer to our customers,” continues Karl. “What with great food, good company, the convivial atmosphere – and yes, the beverage Munich’s so famous for – I think everyone had a great time!”


The following morning there was a tour of the Hundeggar factory, where guests enjoyed a very warm welcome and got insight to its range of machinery for timber construction.  And for those feeling a little ‘morning after the night before’, there was the option of a leisurely breakfast followed by the opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of Munich.

“I’d like to thank all customers who attended this year’s conference and helped make our 25 years celebration so memorable,” says Karl. “In the new year, we plan to get in touch with customers who couldn’t make it to arrange for them too to preview Fusion.
